Enabling All: One to One Mentoring

October 16, 2016

A group of four people, dressed in autumn clothing, engages in outdoor activities on a sunny day. One person is sitting on a board while three others hold ropes attached to it, embodying the spirit of enabling all through teamwork. The backdrop showcases colorful autumn trees and a majestic mountain.

Earlier this month, Telluride Adaptive partnered with One to One Mentoring to provide the first ever Summer Enabling All.  Mentors and mentees were introduced to the world of adaptive recreation through interactive experiences and presentations.  Participants were able to learn first-hand about summer adaptive sports by riding an assortment of handcycles, experiencing adaptive climbing systems, and geocaching blindfolded with a guide.

TASP presenters were thrilled at the mentees insightful questions and eagerness to participate in the various activities.  A big thank you to One to One Mentoring for collaborating to make this summer initiative a successful reality.
