Tim McGough
Ski & Ride Director
A seasoned adventure education professional, Tim is TASP’s Program Director. He draws on decades of experience to curate and lead creative, customized adaptive activities. His approach to programming focuses on addressing needs and desires, providing challenge, making smiles, and empowering participants physically and emotionally.
The son of a special education educator and an outdoorsman, Tim was an explorer from a young age. He discovered adventure education and expeditionary learning in college. Upon graduating with a degree in outdoor education and adventure education, he realized these spaces excluded individuals living with disabilities. This spurred his dedication to work and study around fostering inclusion through recreation. Along the way, he’s built a strong acumen in sports, risk management, and community relations while helping chart the organization’s expansion.
Tim has several high certifications in teaching skiing and snowboarding and pursues advanced training. He also holds multiple certifications in whitewater rafting and kayaking.

Winter skiing, summer mountain biking, and rafting

Cooking for my family while rocking out to a live-streamed concert
