Hilary Hastings
Volunteer & Office Coordinator
A self-described jill-of-all-trades — and master of some — Hilary serves as TASP’s Volunteer and Office Coordinator. In her role, she manages the 200+ volunteers who share their love of the outdoors, facilitate events, and provide administrative support.
Hilary first fueled her passion for nonprofit work and volunteer management at Mission: Wolf, a nonprofit educational wolf refuge. There, she lived off the grid in central Colorado, working her way from educator to the organization’s operations coordinator. Before coming to TASP, Hilary underwent training at Colorado Firecamp and became a certified structural and wildland firefighter. Her early memories as a summer trail ride guide in the Rockies brought her to Telluride and TASP.
Hilary holds a master’s in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Colorado. Outside of TASP she continues to work as a wildland firefighter and trainer of firefighters.
